Ann-Louise was born in Scotland and brought up in Sunderland. She moved to Huddersfield in West Yorkshire in 2003 for work and has now settled in the area. She enjoys travelling, photography and working-out at the gym. She is also a black tag in Tae Kwon Do.
ALC Taxation was established to give independent firms of accountants in West Yorkshire access to specialist tax knowledge. By working with ALC Taxation, these firms have access to an in-house tax specialist and are, therefore, able to provide their clients an improved quality of service. From Aberdeen to Leeds
Ann-Louise initially trained with a big four firm in Aberdeen before working in small to medium sized independent tax practices in Gateshead, Huddersfield and finally Leeds. She has always specialised in the SME sector, identifying and looking after the needs of these businesses and their owner-managers.
She has a great deal of experience in corporate tax, personal tax, capital gains tax and inheritance tax - taking care of both compliance and planning issues. | |

Chartered Institute of Taxation
Ann-Louise Collins, trading as ALC Taxation, qualified as a Chartered Tax Adviser in 2002 and joined the Chartered Institute of Taxation in the October of that year.
Prior to that, she passed the Association of Tax Technicians' exams in 2000.
Ann-Louise also holds a BA (Hons) Accountancy First Class degree from Northumbria University. | | |
